My "Attitude Adjustment"

I want to thank you for your ministry in music to mothers. You are my favorite musician! I have your first 3 CD's. I listen to them when I am discouraged, exhausted, frustrated, or when I've been wallowing in a bad attitude. They are my "attitude adjustment" music.

It's hard to be a stay at home mom these days. It's even harder to be the mother of a large family, going against the tide of culture. And as a homeschool mom, home with my kids all day every day, there are plenty of times I need an "attitude adjustment" myself.

Thank you for being transparent through your music. Thank you for sharing your gift with us. Thank you for the blessing that you've been to me. Music has always spoken to me, and I am so blessed that I have music that feels like it was written just for me, to encourage me in my God-given role as wife and mother.

Congratulations on your 9th baby! I pray that you have a joyous week with your own family.

I play it over and over!

I asked a friend for some uplifting music and she offered me Marie's first CD. It was truly the best gift EVER! I am a mother of 9 -ages 14 years to 9 months- who was very worn out and exhausted. The CD was so uplifting that I play it over and over each day. What beautiful lyrics and music that truly encourage me in my day and my faith! Thank you, Marie, for sharing your beautiful family and talents with us.

Reminds Me of What is Truly Important

I have been thoroughly enjoying, relishing, and delighting in Marie's newest CD, A New Springtime! The songs describe exactly how I feel right now in my life: A stay at home mom of 10 children: 9 boys and one girl. My oldest 2 are now in college and the youngest is fourteen months old. I especially relate to Marie because she has 8 boys and only one girl! When she sings of "noisy suppers", I certainly know what she is talking about!

The songs have more instruments and harmonies than in her previous CD's and they are WONDERFUL to listen to! The lyrics once again describe the down to earth details of everyday life yet at the same time, raise the soul to look at the possibilities of the Eternal. Marie has such a gift for describing the ups and downs, and joys and sorrows of daily life while always daring me to look deep into my soul.

I always put on one of Marie's CD's while doing the morning chores to remind me of what is truly important: loving God by serving and loving my family first.

Keep those songs coming Marie! May God Bless you and your family!

Support for Dads and Husbands, too!

Marie Bellet supports Dads/Husbands too!

It's unfortunate that too often when women write songs about their lives, they feel the need to put the men in their lives down. In our society husbands are often portrayed as workaholics, selfish sexists, or just plain stupid. In Marie's song "One Heroic Moment" she portrays a man who is more like the one I married. His life is filled with heroic monents, chosing his Lord and his family over all else. Even the song "Don't You think I Count?" which portrays a marital conflict, Marie shows both sides of the coin. The wife is home and lonely, and the man is trying to work hard for his family, they both value the same things and just need to comunicate their feelings to one another to realize that. Thank you Marie for telling the world that good men are valued by good women!

Grand Slam Homerun!

Wow! Marie, with your Ordinary Time video and song, you've hit another grand slam homerun way out of the baseball stadium and past the surrounding parking lots- and I mean to speak out one the size of those in Chicago and St. Louis! Way to go Marie!

The Strength I need to Survive the Day

I'd just like to say that Marie Bellet's music has inspired me and my husband so much. When I listen to it in the car on my way to work, it fills me with the strength I need to survive the day.
When I heard about her other two albums I logged onto my computer and bought them hurriedly.

Marie Bellet please continue to make the truly beautiful and inspiring music that is so different from the racey music of the times.
